New Kitchens
Whether you are renovating or extending a new home, fitting out commercial premises, or building a new residence, new kitchens are perhaps the most difficult area to get ‘just right’. At Apollo Kitchens we know that there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution to kitchen design - and we pride ourselves on being able to deliver the kitchen you want.
Kitchen Design
Kitchens come in all shapes and sizes, and what is right for a young family is different to the lifestyle needs of a family of adults. Likewise corporate kitchen areas have very specific requirements.
Careful planning, with the help of specialist kitchen makers, is vital to ensuring that the kitchen you install will have the features and components that you need. Many people take the time to look at how they use the kitchen - whether they use the cooktop or microwave more frequently than the oven, or the dishwasher more often than the sink. All of these can influence the placement of appliances, cupboards, pantry and sink.
Appliances
Consider installing modern appliances in new kitchens - if necessary sell you old ones. Building a modern kitchen around old appliances can create difficulties down the track - the refrigerator you have today may fit in the cavity of your new kitchen - but you may not be able to find a fridge with the same dimensions in 5 years' time.
These days many appliances are able to be matched to your kitchen with the addition of panels of the same material as your cabinet doors - yet another reason for renewing your appliances when installing new kitchens.
The Variables
Once you have your kitchen layout and considered the appliances you may need, it is time to choose the materials for your cabinetry and benchtops.
Apollo Kitchens has a huge range of of materials from which to choose - and every budget is catered for. Benchtops can be of natural or synthetic stone, laminates or even stainless steel, and our solid cabinet construction is dressed up with drawers and doors that come in colours, sizes and materials to suit everyone.
It is perhaps these elements, more than any others, that will determine the finished look of your new kitchen, and will reflect your taste with regards to lifestyle and look - whether you want an all white streamlined kitchen or one with a warm, rustic feel.
Trades
New kitchens aren't simply a matter of design and appliance selection - there are specialist trades that will need to be engaged to join the dots. Apollo Kitchen's cabinetmakers will construct your cupboards and drawers, and install them on site; they are able to engage qualified electricians and plumbers who will ensure that your appliances are connected to utilities according to council regulations. We will project manage the whole installation to ensure the least inconvenience to you as possible.
New kitchens are our speciality, and we take pride in the ones we have installed for our past clients, and the one that we will install for you, in your home or office.
