A Complete Home Solution in South Nowra
Recently we helped fit out this beautiful home for one of project home builder Beechwood Homes’ clients. Apollo provided a full joinery solution for the kitchen, living rooms, bathroom and laundry.
Kitchen
To create the heart of this home, we designed a ‘galley’ style kitchen, with cabinetry mounted to one wall parallel to the kitchen island.
The island was placed in the centre of the open plan space, creating a division between the kitchen and adjoining living area. Within the island bench, we fitted a porcelain butler’s sink by Siema (Rhodes 900 in white) that pairs well with the shade of the benchtop whilst adding a nice contrast in style.
The island is also fitted with integrated appliances, with a dishwasher by the sink and a bar fridge facing the living area, for easy entertaining.
All benchtops were finished with polished Silestone in White Storm, with a 30mm edge.
Just off the kitchen, we also included a butler’s pantry with ample storage space and features that match the main kitchen.

Kethy brushed brass handles were used on base cabinets only, while the wall mounted cabinet doors chosen have a slight overhang to open and close for a simple and clean look.
Two tone finishes were used for the doors: Polytec’s Black Matt for base cabinets and Polytec’s Prime Oak Woodmatt for wall mount cabinets and feature panels. The choice of a dark finish for the base and light up top not only creates a harmonious contrast in the space, it also grounds the kitchen, making it feel secure and comfortable.
As a standard, all drawers were fitted with soft closing Hettich ArciTech runners and doors with soft closing Hettich Sensys hinges.
For the splashback, we worked closely with Beechwood Homes to install a window above the rear bench. The glass splashback was made with a strong tempered glass that can withstand intense heat, making it incredibly durable. The use of a window splashback also invites more light into the space, creating a brighter, more open atmosphere and a kitchen that feels more spacious.

Butler’s Pantry
Keeping a consistent theme with the main kitchen, the Butler’s pantry is finished with the same stone surfaces and colour scheme.

Bathroom

In the bathroom, we created a sense of calm by combining a neutral palette of white for the vanity and timber for the cabinet.
The basin used is a ceramic bowl sink by Seima, atop a White Storm Polished bench with 30mm edge.
Polytec’s Prime Oak Woodmatt was paired with Kethy brushed brass door handles that match those used in the kitchen, and the bathroom’s tapware.
We also installed a wall-mounted mirrored vanity cabinet for easy access to essentials like cosmetics.
Living Area
In the living room, we kept the joinery consistent by once again using Polytec Prime Oak woodmatt to create an integrated entertainment unit that runs across the width of the wall.

For the recessed shelving unit in the living space, we also used Polytec Prime Oak in Woodmatt.
Laundry
In the laundry, we continued the consistent colourway with the rest of the house, choosing, however, to use the same dark navy cabinetry as the kitchen, over the light oak woodmatt.
For the benchtop, the same 30mm polished white storm stone was used, and the Seima porcelain sink also matches the kitchen.
Kethy brushed brass tapware matches the bathroom and the cabinet door handles.
