As a company that produces over 100 kitchens per week and one of Australia’s leading kitchen design and manufacture businesses, Apollo Kitchens are the experts in the design, manufacture and installation of kitchen, vanity and laundry joinery. The family-owned and run Apollo Kitchens, which was founded in 1968, originally operated locally within Sydney. It has since grown considerably and now has multiple showrooms and facilities, including in Sydney and Newcastle. Apollo Kitchens carried out residential joinery to Building A on Platinum, comprising of 15 levels and Building D at eight levels. In total Apollo Kitchens provided its joinery services on 167 kitchens and 285 vanity areas. Over 15 of the company’s staff worked on the project. Apollo Kitchen’s Peter Bader explains that Platinum included the use of gloss-panelled products and mirrored laminate on a mass scale. Benchtops, cabinets and kitchen island are framed with 10cm of Caesar stone’s Statuario Maximus. The white gloss finish on all cabinets allows lighting to reflect and fill the room. LED strips fitted under the wall mount cabinets provides additional illumination for preparing meals. The centre drop-down light are a combination of brass and ceramic enhancement the kitchen design. No handles, just finger pull, soft close cabinetry and drawers.

Apollo Kitchens were able to move the kitchen into central location to maximise storage space and to service two dining/lounge areas. The smoky mirror splashback creates move viewing space and allows for more lighting to spread throughout the space.

The style is sophisticated, slightly traditional with a modern twist. Profiled doors design with minimal handles. This large kitchen layout was designed to utelize the entire area with functional features & clean lines. The colour & material scheme is a combination of Dulux White on White polyurethane gloss & Polytec Createc Cavia Lini timber grain all in a finger pull door design to create a sleek & modern look. The 40mm Caesarstone Organic White bench top blend’s in with the colour scheme & the LED strip lighting under the Blum Aventos lift up automatic doors is a key feature that fits the design perfectly.

This kitchen layout was designed to create a homely and welcoming feel. Features include a Dulux Natural White Satin finish Tesrol 502 door design to give a soft and natural look. The 40mm Caesarstone Piatra Grey benchtop is the focal point in the colour scheme, along with the island bench top which has a bar fridge space & seating area that is perfectly positioned in the open plan kitchen and dining area. Hidden storage solutions like Hettich Cargo IQ unit’s & Bi-fold appliance cabinets are handy idea’s that have made this kitchen design practical & useful for anyone to enjoy.

The brief called for a design which had to fit the original foot print of the existing kitchen whilst focusing on increasing the amount of light in the room and looking at materials that were going to make the kitchen feel larger, brighter and have a wow factor. The gloss polyurethane doors and grey mirror splashback were the perfect choice for bouncing light around the room and the Calacatta marble feature benchtop has given this compact kitchen the wow factor we were looking for.

This kitchen layout was designed to increase storage and functionality. The layout maximised access points from the kitchen to the home. Additional lighting mounted under cabinetry and minimal colours to accentuate the space. Reversed facing draws in u-shaped bench to increase ease of access.
